About

David Bednar

is a game developer with over a 15 years of industry experience. He was Lead Game Designer at Rec Room, where he created delightful tools and systems to improve the creativity and friendships of players. Before that, he did everything in games except coding— from UI design to writing, art direction, animation, and even a stint voice acting for a minotaur.

He also moonlights as a tabletop game illustrator, including cover art for the 2023 CRIT Award-winning Going Rogue 2e by Jess Levine, and the Tabletop Deathmatch finalist Pack The Pack.

He graduated in 2011 from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Animation. He currently lives in Wisconsin with his incredible wife and three feral children.
